The BioMedical Life Systems, Micro Plus® device is a two channel analog device. MENS or Microcurrent Electrical Nerve Stimulator therapy has been a well-studied modality for over 30 years and helps manage acute and chronic pain, reduce inflammation, reduce fatigue and accelerate healing after surgery or injury. Unlike a traditional TENS which uses a larger current called “Milliamp”, Microcurrent devices uses a current called “Microamp” which is one thousandth the size of a Milliamp. Therefore, while you can feel a TENS sensation, chances are the sensation for a Microcurrent device will NEVER be felt.
